I don’t know about anyone else but I love shopping. I mean it’s fun, and it ends with a present being delivered to your door. What is there not to love. Now that Christmas has passed, I find myself trying to find a good excuse to get some extra use out of my handy dandy best friend, my credit card. Some call it a shopping addiction, I call it a lifestyle. And I won’t let Christmas being over stop me from shopping. So if you're looking for a great and practical reason to get some extra points, then read along!

With Christmas being over I find myself wondering, what I’ll be wearing for the duration of winter. I mean I love a festive outfit and most of December gets taken up with a holiday themed look. I wanted to make sure that the rest of my winter looks won’t suffer. I find that a classic furry or teddy bear style jacket is a must. Winter is the perfect lazy day season and something comfy is a must for that. Obviously winter boots are a total must for winter. And as someone who appreciates style, winter boots have to be cute or it’s a hard pass for me. So I’ll let you in on my secrets if the cuter option doesn't feel quite as warm, double up on socks!

Something about winter literally screams chunky purses. This Y2k blast from the past is making a major splash this winter. They radiate cozy vibes and are perfect for practical reasons too. Something like a fringe tote is perfect for the boho ladies or opt for a more classic leather look. If a chunky tote isn’t your vibe, a crossbody is seasonally appropriate as well. It says “casual” but put together all at the same time. After all, that is the key to a successful comfy look.

My favorite twist to a comfy couch ready look is adding something a little spicy underneath. It’s a great surprise for your partner or just to give yourself a little something extra. Lingerie isn’t only Victoria’s secret, make it yours too. We all can agree there’s something powerful about feeling sexy, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I like a bright red but there’s something about white lace that says winter. Bodysuits are great too because sometimes they are just a touch more comfortable .
