Formal Date Nights

Whether you are going on a date or to be with your besties for an evening of fun, what you wear is important. This blog post will tell you the do's and don'ts when dressing for a formal date.

Do: Keep it simple - avoid loud patterns, prints, bold colors and too many accessories Don't: Wear anything that hurts your body or makes you feel uncomfortable-no matter how great it looks!

Read on to find out more about everything from what shoes to wear to what types of dresses are appropriate.

What shoes should you wear on a formal date? That's the question we're going to answer today. What type of event will it be? This is important because there are different expectations depending on whether you're attending a wedding or just having dinner with friends. You may have been invited to both, but if so, try wearing two different outfits for each occasion! If you don't know exactly what type of event this will be, ask your significant other ahead of time so that he can help you decide which one would be appropriate.

Do you want to impress your date? Dress up in a nice dress and heels, but what about your feet? Do not worry, I have the perfect shoes for you. For formal dates, black patent leather pumps are the ultimate shoe. They are sexy with their peep toe shape and they can be dressed down or up depending on your outfit choice. The heel height is appropriate for any event which makes them easy to wear all night long!

Don't wear a mini skirt on a formal date. Its not worth the risk of getting caught, and it will make you feel uncomfortable the whole night if your date is looking down at your thighs. More importantly, its just rude to show up in something so inappropriate to an event that someone took time out of their day to plan for you. If you are unsure what to wear, consider wearing a bodycon or bandage dress instead.

Bodycon dresses are tight around your stomach and waist with an open back or low cut that shows off your curves. They often have a slit up the front of the leg for walking. The best part is that they're so versatile! You can wear them to work, brunch, happy hour with friends-basically anything! Bodycon dresses were originally seen in Japan in 1979 but started their American surge when celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid began wearing them more frequently on red carpets. This trend has been going strong ever since and we're not seeing it go out of style anytime soon. If you haven't invested in one yet, do so immediately.

The bandage dress is the perfect way to show off your curves. The snug fit will make you feel like you're wearing nothing at all, but still look super chic! One of my favorite dresses is this black and white striped one from Grrly Grrls It's so simple, yet it has a great neckline that can be worn with or without a belt for different looks. I also love the high slit on the side which makes it easy to walk in (no need for stilettos!) and shows just enough skin when I sit down. This versatile dress would be perfect for any occasion from date night to work attire!

Why do women wear bandage dresses? They are figure hugging, ultra sexy and they highlight every woman’s curves.
