Swimwear in January? by Luci Black

With it being the dead of winter I of course I’m thinking of warmer times. There's nothing like being freezing cold to make the heat not seem not so bad. I am a sucker for a romantic snowy night, or even a good winter walk. But there comes a time where I seriously don't think I could take another day. And in that time, I dream of summer. And what better way to make my dream a reality than by prepping for summer. It doesn't get more summer than going to the beach. And going to the beach wouldn't be going to the beach without the perfect swimsuit. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. I wanted to share with you some of my predicted swimwear trends of 2022.

With the rise of Twee style and trends we haven't seen since 2014 Fringe is going to be all the rage. With Twee style being more of a sweeter boho or hipster style fringe will sure to be a hit. It’s a fun way to add movement to your look and an ode to 2014. High-waisted styles are also a timeless touch from the Twee era. To possibly have the perfect throwback look grab a high-waisted bikini, we have the cutest little number that has some fun pom-poms. It comes in 5 colors that you can’t go wrong with. Another sweet nod to twee is a fun bow and a pop of bold colors. Grab our bow back bikini, it has a longer tassel which I just think is the perfect touch. In the spirit of honesty I saved my personal favorite for last. I love a bikini that's a whole serve, it's not just a swimsuit but an outfit. I love our crocheted bikini top. It has the most adorable shell fringe.

Statement pieces, if a few months of quarantine taught us anything it's how to break out of our shells and let our true colors show through. I have loved seeing how people's personal style has evolved and because of that I think statement pieces in swimwear are going to be huge! I love bringing all the drama and our tulle sleeve bikini leaves nothing behind. It's a stunning off the shoulder style that's so flattering and is the right amount of pop without being tacky. I love a halter swim moment and will fangirl over a strappy look. We have the perfect classic halter swimsuit that is a sleek style but pack a bold punch. Sometimes a bright color is all you to make a statement. To finish out the statement styles I think that a chain on swimwear is unexpected and is a great way to make a statement in a subtle way. If you’re hoping to try one, look no further, our chain halter bikini is all you’ll ever need.

Coming in last but certainly not least I think monokinis and one pieces are coming back. A style that has previously been dismissed as not trendy is here to prove that it is worth taking a second look at. They can be so cute, so flattering and are a great way to switch up your swimwear game. I am in love with deep-v swimwear and they are perfect for our curvy gals. If you like a little more color, sometimes finding a swimsuit with some fun strappy details is a great way to elevate a one-piece. Another fun way to switch up a one-piece is to leave the straps behind and throw on a strapless dream.
